How does one set Firefox to open a link in a new tab?

Frinstance...

Look at a list of search results, tap on a link.

I want to view the linked page in a new tab. Not the page of search results.

Thanks in advance!

Hi swampy

If you long press on a link, you should see an option to open the link in a new tab.

I hope that this helps.

Thanks Paul I know that already and it's not what I want to do.

I used to be able to just tap on a link and it intuitively opens a new tab.

On a cellphone or tablet, there's nowhere in the settings to set it how I want, that I can find anyway.

Is this a new improved feature after an upgrade?
