Is there a way to search through my open tabs? If not, PLEASE create that feature.

Also, is there a way to see the previous pages that have been opened in a tab? Right now, I have to just keep backspacing through previous tabs hoping to find the one I'm looking for. If not, please ad d a way to view and select previously opened tabs before I start backspacing through them.

Is there a way to sort open tabs, at least alphabetically? If not, that would be a very nice feature to have.

I'm using Android 12.

Thank you for your help.

Right now you can't search through tabs. To see the history, try to long-press the back arrow.

Thanks, TyDraniu, for getting back to me. Unfortunately, long-pressing the back arrow didn't work. In fact, I think I had already tried that.

Also, there was a question about sorting tabs. Is that possible?

Please submit anything that's not possible, as a feature to be added to Firefox for Android 12.

I would like to update to the latest version. I believe that's version 14, but I can't seem to do that. I've tried the update command, but it says I'm current, which obviously isn't true. Any suggestions?

Thanks again.

The current version of Firefox for Android is 121.1; it's been high numbers for years now. Can you check the version again?

Long-pressing the back arrow in the Firefox menu (three dots) should open the history. This is for all tabs, so maybe not what you want. You can change the order of tabs in the tab list, but only one by one, as far as I know.

The current version of Firefox for Android is 121.1; it's been high numbers for years now. Can you check the version again? That's the version I'm running. Android updates my apps automatically, including Firefox. From the screenshot I attached, it looks like it was updated on the 8th of this month. Long-pressing the back arrow in the Firefox menu (three dots) should open the history. I've tried long-pressing the back arrow repeatedly, innumerable times, and it would never work. Just before I replied to your post, I tried once again on the outside chance it might work and this happened, see the first attachment. You can change the order of tabs in the tab list, but only one by one, as far as I know. That's exactly what prompted me to ask for a sort feature. I usually have dozens of tabs open, and sometimes well over 100, so it gets a bit tedious and time consuming to move things around. Thanks very much for your help.

Hi,

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or developers. If you want to leave feedback for developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Share ideas and feedback…. Alternatively, you can use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.
