The recent update to Firefox 122 on Android has added a very annoying "Customize Homepage" button on the home page. Is there any way to remove it?

Hi

This is not new in 122 (I can see it in 121 and it has been there for quite a few months) and as far as I am aware, there is no way to remove it.

I'm quite sure it only appeared after the 122 update. Otherwise, I would not have noticed it.

I am still using 121 and I have it on my homepage - I think it has been there for quite a few months (possibly closer to a year).

Not certain how long it has been included, but it is obvious that it is superfluous, since the same link is available in settings.

Personally, I would prefer having the button removed, or at least have the option to hide it.

This is not my experience, I was using 121 just fine with this annoyance not showing, then as soon as I updated to 122 it was there.

Please remove this as the default, it should be opt=in not opt-out, people don't want to customise their homepage daily so it's idiotic to have on the actual homepage.
