The mother board on my old computer crashed and I needed to get a new computer. Old computer will not post or boot-up. Is there anyway to retrieve and transfer my Thunderbird email files to my new computer when the old computer will not post? Thanks!

You will need an external harddrive enclosure and a connecting cable from it to PC. Then, remove the hard drive from old PC, insert into external enclosure and connect to a working PC. From there, you can copy files as needed. However, if old PC crashed while Thunderbird was running, the profile may be corrupt -- but message folders would likely be okay.
