Can't delete unwanted 'Templates' folder

more options

I composed an outgoing email message that I wanted to keep for future use, and saved it as a Template. That not only saved it under the unified Templates heading, but created a second appearance of my main email account with its own Templates subfolder. At that point I decided I really didn't want to keep it after all, so I deleted the message, but the second Templates folder didn't disappear; its still on the tree list as an empty folder. Right-clicking that folder doesn't have a Delete function, but it does present a Repair option, but running that doesn't help. How do I get rid of that unneeded individual email account listing and the empty Templates folder?

What was the solution? I want both Templates and Archives gone and I cannot find a single answer to this via searching. The extension here did not work for me.

Actually, centifanto, my problem isn't the same as yours. I had a second appearance of Templates, for just a single account, showing up just above Local Folders. David had me right-click on the upper, 'normal' Templates, go to Properties, then Choose an account to search, and hit OK. This immediately removed the lower, 'phantom' Templates entry on the tree. Trouble is, if I close the program completely (not just wake from sleep), I have to do this over again. Not a big issue, but still a bother. In other words, my Choose and Save selection does not 'stick.'

It seems like you want to hide what you consider unnecessary tree folders, which I think is not possible to do. I would do it too if there were a way, so if you manage to do this please post back here with a solution.

Ah, got it. Thank you very much for the reply. I will post back here if I hear a response from my post I created for this. Thank again
