Firefox loads on my Mac but now starts a jingle that then turns to a siren sound. Otherwise, works well.
Do you think I have a virus in FF? Each time I load FF, all tabs open correctly, but after about 5 seconds, this electronic melody starts to play, and then, after about 10 seconds, shifts to a siren type of sound. I have deleted FF and reloaded, but still having the issue. It happens whether I have one tab open or several tabs open. I am not having this issue with Chrome, just FF.
This happened
Every time Firefox opened
I was trying to load a gmail message, locked the computer. Shut down and restarted. Issue started when I loaded FF.

Disable the CoolIris Previews extension until you can install an update of that extension.
