Why does my Adobe Flash Player keep crashing? I have taken the steps that I received in the "Learn More" section of the crash but it still crashes.

I open an application that requires Flash Player but it always crashes. I can use it for maybe five minutes but after that it keeps on crashing, I have the latest version of Flash Player as the article on "Learn More" has said to but that didn't help. Can anyone help me?

ok heres how u do it or how i did it, go to http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html download one of the recent ones before this shit started happening cos its driving me nuts! ok then u go into the read me file and theres a link to get the flash uninstaller so u go to

http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html and download either 32 or 64 bit.

then open up C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash

and paste it in there and then run it. then u go bak to ur older downloaded version and install it. the problem should be fixed just dont update it.

hope this helps

An update was release late last night to address some of the issues with the new plugin crash protection. The new version is Firefox 3.6.6. Help > Check for Updates. See if your problem(s) are fixed with the update.

My Adobe Flash player crashes immediately. I have tried uninstalling & installing the latest, but get the same thing. I am running Firefox 3.6.6. With the latest download of Flash Player )10.1), it now crashes in IE (7.0.5730.13) too!

I too have done the updates, I thought that would solve it but now my computer is freezing when it crashes. The crashing has slowed down to about 1 every hour or two.

So apparently with this new update I'm assuming that Firefix is supposed to have this Flash Player issue fixed....Well the life span of mine has increased to crashing every other day now.....this has become a major problem for me and I plan on switching to Internet Explorer, seeing as I have had no problems such as this while I was running it before. My guess is the Mozilla team is throwing too much into Firefox and it is having some serious conflict issues.....Just my guess.

I have a solution. This is not a big deal...but aggravating. I think 30 days is reasonable, then I go back to "another" browser.
