I have followed all the advice in the support forums but to no avail. I want to permanently disable, turn off or therwise shut down the feature that remembers past web sites. Every time I go to Tools>Options>Privacy and make changes (like never remember history and selecting or deselecting other options) the changes simply revert back to what they previously were. I must say this is very frustrating. I am running Windows & Pro on an HP Probook and the latest version of Firefox. Essentially, I do not want history of sites visited nor do I want Firefox to suggest web sites as i begin to type a URL address. Thank you very much for your time and suggestions...... Chris
