I'm a quality control person who wants to check a before and after of an animated gif or html page using Firefox. I want to check both content and timing.

Hello g.

First off, please update to the latest version, 3.6.8, by going into Help > Check for updates... The version of Firefox you're currently using is no longer supported. On top of this, it has known unpatched bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox for maximum security.

That aside, I believe you're better off looking for a GIF composing application that can read GIFs frame by frame, with much ease. You may want to look for an extension for Firefox though: http://addons.mozilla.org/
