Firefox updated automatically on my computer at work. So at home, I turn on my PC, start Firefox and click "Check for Updates..." However, Firefox reports "There are no updates available", even though the latest version is 3.6.9 and is not installed. What gives?

I am running Windows XP service pack 3 (German version), and Firefox version 3.6.8 (English version).

Try downloading the full setup file from http://www.mozilla.com and installing 3.6.9 on top of your current version.
