I can't get a password to be saved again once I had to change it. This website isn't on my "don't save password" list, but the drop down box still won't come up.

I had to remove this website from my saved passwords because I needed to change the password. Now when I got to the website and put in the new information, the drop down box offering to save the password doesn't come up. I tried the tip of checking to see if the site was listed under "don't save password," but it wasn't. How can I save my new password?

You can check the saved password list for empty entries and remove those if present.

Also make sure that you do not run Firefox in (permanent) Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history mode.
