Problem - loading Java to view images. Open always appeared in bottom left so clicked on it. Now instead of running Java I get the html file. How do I get rid of that so Java can run?

As loading Java started, I noticed in bottom left of screen there was a spot to tell browser to "Open Always" so I clicked on it hoping that would speed up Java loading. Instead, it now only opens the html file of Java each time I try to use Java. Java no longer runs. How can I undo the mess? This only happens on Google Chrome. When I use Netscape - Java runs just fine.

How is that related to Firefox support?
You mentioned Chrome and Netscape, how is Firefox involved?
