when trying to make the item I am watching full screen it shows a blank screen

When watching a streaming video or show, when I try to fit the show to full screen by pushing the full screen button in the panel the screen goes blank. To watch I have to hit the esc button.

Disable the hardware acceleration in the Flash Player.
