New computer; saved bookmarks folder from old computer; how to import the old bookmarks folder so Firfox uses them?

more options

My old computer motherboard failed. Have the hard disk from it and can read and transfer files/folders. One of them is a folder of Favorites.

I need to find out how to import this folder into Firefox so it can use it. The restore or import options don't seem to work. Can I import the folder directly into the Firefox program folder, and if so, where should I put it?

That is the IE Favorites folder. You will have to import those favorites in IE and export them to an HTML file and import that file in Firefox if you didn't make a backup of files in the Firefox Profile Folder.

If you were using Firefox on that old computer, it would be better to recover your personal data from Firefox from that old PC's hard drive. Your bookmarks that where saved in Firefox would be in your old Firefox Profile, not in the IE Favorites folder.
