I want to save the save the same bookmark in 2 different bookmark folders. But when I save it in one folder, the other bookmark gets deleted. I guess firefox is trying to prevent double bookmarking. Where can I enable this?

Chosen solution

  • Use Bookmarks -> Organise bookmarks (wording may differ eg in Firefox v4)

You are then able to copy and paste bookmarks, including dragging them with a mouse. The will copy rather than just move, if you wish.
