I think there may be more than one version of similar add-ons, I just looked quickly and came across https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ie-tab-2-ff-36/?src=api

Given that Firefox 4 is likely to be released soon, you may be better going for an up-to-date add-on, rather than considering downgrading Firefox (that has security risk implications).
