Firefox doesn't support extended ascii character set. Prevents me to login in correctly in certain websites
On certain websites Firefox doesn't remember my login information when set to login automatically.
I seems it doesn't support extended ascii character set which has been a previous problem with some versions of 3.6. It prevents me to login in correctly when using å,ä,ö in my login information in for example my login name.

Running latest RC version of Firefox 4.
Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate (English)
- Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
- Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
- In Private Browsing - Use Firefox without saving history mode all cookies are session cookies that expire if that session is ended, so websites won't remember you.
- Do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"
Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and password exceptions.

Thanks!
But the things you describes isn't the problem. Firefox 3.6 works great with that site i currently having problems with so we could exclude those potential problems.
I know there's a bug filled in bugzilla that's describes exactly the very same problem im experiencing. I couldn't find it though. It's something about extended ascii character set that the betas werent supporting.

Do you mean saving passwords that contain such characters in the Password Manager?
Nope it's still not working and Password Manager isn't the cause of the problem. Deleted the cookies and all history, even deleted the profiles and created new ones. Uninstalling and reinstalling firefox won't do any much good either.
This bug in the final version of Firefox 4 hasn't been issued.
I am at lost here unfortunately.

Seems Mozilla not doing anything about this issue still present in Firefox 5.xx.
