What happened to the Recent pages dropdown (in Firefox 4) that was next to Go back one page, Go forward one page? It was more useful than having to go to History.

There was a dropdown list after Go for one page on the menu bar that showed several of my latest pages. It was handy. Is there a way to do this QUICKLY in FF4, without having to open history?

You can get the drop down list by either right-clicking on the back/forward buttons, or holding down the left button until the list appears.
