Same on a Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit. I have cleaned Firefox, reset everything, disabled all add-ons, and the dialog shown for some time in the expected way. However, after a week it stopped to show the downloads again. The progress is refreshed in the titlebar rarely. Let's say I have a download of 90MB, the titlebar of the downloads window shows 9% and next time 97% in 10 minutes. The overall download progress is visible in the Windows taskbar only. This happened on two versions of Firefox, 4 and 4.0.1.
