Why option of adding bookmark from any tab was removed in Firefox 4?
Also why status bar was removed from Firefox 4? I had to switch back to Firefox 3, because lack of these 2 things were annoying me.
I know, status bar can be fixed with addon, but why it isn't available in clean version of Firefox?

Some menu entries are hidden by default and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu.
You can see the difference if you use Alt+F or Alt+B to open the "File" and "Bookmarks" menu and compare that to what you see if you use the mouse to open the menu after you have made the menu bar visible by pressing Alt or by pressing F10.
- "Bookmark All Tabs" (Shift+Ctrl+D) no longer shows in the Bookmarks menu unless you open the Bookmarks menu via the keyboard (Alt + B).
- "Bookmark This Page" can be accessed via the right-click context menu of that browser page.
- "Bookmark All Tabs" can be accessed via the right-click context menu of a tab on the tab bar.

The Statusbar was removed to make way for the Add-on Bar which far more versatile for customization as a "toolbar". Any Toolbar button can be placed on the Add-on bar, where the Statusbar had to be coded for specifically for inside each extension, and the placement on the Statusbar was partially dependent upon the installation order of extensions (many were coded for "next to" a special default element of the Statusbar, that's where the install order came into play).
Few extension developers took the time to code for both a Statusbar button and a Toolbar button and then allowed to user to select which they wanted to be displayed. (IIRC, NoScript and Adblock Plus are the only two extensions I have ever used that allowed that choice.) And once a button was on the Statusbar, the user couldn't move the buttons or re-arrange them without using the Organize StatusBar extension (whuch has never been available from AMO). And OSB didn't work 100% of the time, due to variations in coding used by some extension developers, that OSB didn't account for or handle too well.
IMO, the Stausbar should have been dumped years ago, like in Firefox 2.0 or 3.0, as the number of extensions available for Firefox got to like 10,000 in number.
This solved my problem: BookmarkThisTab: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/bookmarkthistab/ I wanted to have ability to bookmark tab, even it is not active (unfocused) and from right-clicking the tab. The only thing is the text in context menu is in English instead of my browser's language.
Thanks for answers.
EDIT: meh, this doesn't work as i wanted, it doesn't add unfocused tabs to bookmarks. I thought it works...
