I'm on a MAC and use AOL, and since uploading Firefox 4.0.1 my settings have been corrupted, tabs are taking too long to load, or they are all starting up at once, and Firefox 4.0.1 freezes after accessing certain sites and trying to exit.

  1. Trash Firefox 4
  2. Download & install Firefox 3.6, available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

If I trash Firefox 4.0.1 will I lose all my settings & Bookmarks?

No, trashing the application does not remove the user data, that will be available when you install Firefox 3.6
