Is there a way for CTL-F (search/find) feature to display the number of on page matches (and automatically highlight them all), like in Chrome?

When I go to search in the browser (CTL-F), I have two complaints/suggestions: 1. I constantly have to re-click "highlight all" - it would be helpful if there was a setting whereby I could force FireFox to ALWAYS highlight all matches to any particular in browser query. 2. It would be very helpful if the FireFox search feature displayed the number of matches for any given query.

Both of these features are default in Google Chrome and I find that while I like a lot of other things about FireFox more, I constantly default to Chrome because it is such an inconvenience to use FireFox's native search/find.

Any hope for a fix in the near term?
