Every time I open Firefox I get the following message. We noticed you may have signed in or signed out in another window. Click OK to reload your page. Is this normal?

Firefox cautions against going to the lengthy trouble of using Safe Mode. Instead, it recommends resetting the browser to its original default settings. On 06/10/2012 the recommendation worked correctly for me. I have opened Firefox a few times and not endured a repetition of the message, "We noticed you may have signed in or signed out in another window. Click OK to reload your page." It takes a matter of seconds:

It's the new version 13 that causes this. There may be settings that can fix it, but I didn't find them. Download version 12 and the messages stop. Of course, then you get messages telling you that your version is outdated.
