The text size is too small to read, and I'm tired of having to use 'Cntrl+' on just about any new tab I open. Is there a way to enlage the default text size the tab opens up to?

Every time I update Firefox, it 'helpfully' resizes everything to a smaller size. (grr) How do reset the default text size and tabs so I don't have to use 'cntrl+ every time I open a new tab?
