I installed Firefox version 3.6.18 just last week. Did not have the problem with prior version. I am using Windows Vista

Are you using a web accelerator or does your ISP send images compressed to speed up the file transfer?

You can also check the connection settings.

You can find the connection settings in Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select "No Proxy"


There are other things that need your attention.
