I had to do a destructive recovery. Trying to reinstall bookmarks but the new 8.0 MF that I installed does not show ORGANIZE BOOKMARKS so I can't import the .JSON file.

I AM MISSING "ORGANIZE BOOKMARKS" AND "LIBRARY" IN 8.0 so I am obviously unable to follow instructions given. I have Windows XP, not that it matters. I have the .JSON file stored in an external hard drive. Every website I've seen so far says to go to Bookmarks/Organize Bookmarks and import from there but there is NO Organize Bookmarks that I have found in 8.0 so I have no clue how to import that file to install my old bookmarks.

Also, I do NOT have anything labeled Library either. AND I do NOT have any Add-ons that might be a problem.

Chosen solution

Organize Bookmarks was renamed to Show All Bookmarks back in the Firefox 4.0 version.

Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks or { Ctrl + Shft + B }

BTW, you will need to restore that JSON backup file, import is for HTML bookmarks files that were exported from a web browser.

I did finally see organize bookmarks when I opened Show All Bookmarks. And I was able to finally import my old Bookmarks. Thanks very much for your help.
