Internet Explorer, unintalling??? Windows Update pop-up???
I recently intalled Firefox. It works great. Once I confirmed Firefox was working well, I un-installed Internet Explorer. I have two questions: 1) Is there any reason I need to keep Internet Explorer installed on my computer??? ( I use Windows 7, and I have a subscription to McAfee for my security program.) 2) Every time I turn on my computer I get an error message from Windows Updates recommending I install Internet Explorer 9. I decline each time, but the message keeps coming up. There does not appear to be any option re "Do not ask me about this again". Is there any way I can keep my Windows Updates notifications still active and on, but no longer get this annoying message from Windows re installing Internet Explorer 9 ??? Thanks in advance for any suggestions anyone can offer.

You should install Internet Explorer because sometime some pages need it, also when browser will became corrupt, you will need it to download fresh installer of corrupt browser also if your browser crash frequently on startup and you cannot surf internet anymore, IE will help you to report us along with crash id and connect with internet till solution of your crash, thats it.:)
