Videos on sites like Hulu and NBC do not play. The sites load fine, and in fact the ads load fine. But when it gets to the video, nothing comes up at all, just black. Eventually some error comes up like "could not get video at this time."

Youtube DOES play fine. No problems with Youtube.

All of these videos play perfectly fine on Safari.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing flash, and opening in 32-bit mode.

I have a newer iMac running OSX 10.6.8. My Firefox is up-to-date.

I realized my problem. I have the program Little Snitch and it was denying a plugin container. I suppose I accidentally said deny once. Went in and changed the settings and videos play fine now.
