On my Mac I'm in Firefox why is my menu bar frozen? Everything else seems to be working but I can't get to my tools, bookmarks, History, Edit, View, Window, Help tabs?

Try to remove the Firefox plist file (org.mozilla.firefox.plist).

Go to "Library > Preferences" and remove the plist file for Firefox (org.mozilla.firefox.plist).

Try to repair the disk permissions:

I'm using Windows 7...the menu bar tabs are frozen. Back and forward buttons are there, but also frozen. The home page is also blank even though it is set at google.com. On top of that, everything opens in a new window, when I have it set to open in a new tab. This update is driving me crazy!!! I have a button I use on my Logitech mouse for going BACK in history and it worked perfect until this update. I can't go back at all now! Not even with the menu bar that is frozen.

Please start a new thread for your problem or question and provide troubleshooting information like your operating system and installed extensions and installed plugins, especially since you are on a different platform.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
