MacBook Pro OS X, Version 10.6.8. Firefox 10.0 is default browser. When clicking for updates, indication is that Firefox is up-to-date. Tabs open, but there is no browser window or search window showing at all. Tried d/l new version, same result. Had to use Google Chrome to go to Mozilla website.

Hi jumazzb,

Try going to View > Toolbars and enabling the Bookmarks toolbar and the Navigation toolbar.

Hopefully this helps!

Matt - thank you so much for resolving this problem so quickly and easily! Somehow the navigation toolbar was unchecked. . . probably happened when laptop fell off the bed to the floor while it was still on. Kind regards and many thanks for your help and quick response. I definitely was not thinking logically about this problem. Judy
