Message for 2 days on only 1 site, connection timed out, etc. Swotched browsers, went back to check feeds, and could access site. Any thoughts?

I have blogged for this site for approx 6 months, never a problem. Three days ago, I start getting the message that the connection has timed out, etc. Couldn't access site, login, or feed. This went on for 2 days - no problem with any other site. Did everything troubleshooting and forum suggested, nothing worked. Switched to another browser-Google Chrome-no problem accessing site. Went to Firefox to read other news feeds and suddenly the site was loading again. (http://www.allthingsdemocrat.com) Staying with Firefox which I LOVE, but keeping chrome as backup. Can you explain or advise in case it happens again? Thank you. CLRose

Hello clrose, it seems like you might have experienced some connectivity issues on your side, or it was the server you were trying to reach that was. If you ever experience this again in the future, do a quick check to see if the website is down or if it's just you. You can do so by visiting http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ Thank you for your patience and have a nice day!
