When I open a new tab, it has always been blank in the past. With FF 13 the new page is filled with thumbnails of past web pages. How do I get rid of them. My home page is blank and I want tabs blank also.

See:

You can set the String pref browser.newtab.url to about:blank on the about:config page.

Thanks. That worked. I have some custom scripts that I run from bookmarks. They run from a blank page or from a website page. For some reason they don't run from a newtab page, even if the page is hidden.

Thanks again. .
