When I go to c-span.org and try to click on c-span 1,2,or 3 I get a white screen instead of the video. On PBS.org when I try to view say a Frontline video I get a white screen but no video. This happens with several sites that show video. I have disabled pop-up blocker no luck. When I use Internet Explorer the videois displayed. This problem did nit exist before I upgraded to Firefox 13.0

hello nowaytoday, this is likely a problem related to the recent update of adobe's flash plugin which was released on june 8th (IE uses a different variant of the plugin). please refer to the following article for common solutions: Flash 11.3 doesn't load video in Firefox

Thanks Madperson. I looked at all the referenced Adobe information. I did not understand the technical, however in the forum there was the suggestion to turn off the "download and record function" in Real Player. I did and it solved the problem. I had to sacrifice my ability to record with RealPlayer, but alas one cannot have everything. I appreciate your help.. nowaytoday
