Website logos are not appearing to the left of the web address in the URL bar of my colleagues Firefox but they do appear on mine?

Is it possible to turn this off and on? At the side of the address, where I get an icon for the web site we are looking at, she just sees a blank page

You are using a 1 1/2 year old version of Firefox.

Firefox 14 (now in Beta testing) removed the website favicons from the URL bar.

Have no choice in version of Firefox used as imposed by IT department and no upgrades allowed.

Your colleague must be using a different version of Firefox, such as the Firefox 14.0 beta, unless she did a "user" mod of some sort to suppress the appearance of those favicons in the URL bar.

Why not ask her about that?
