On Win7 computer Firefox does not show boxes to click-on for actions.

There are supposed to be "boxes" on many websites where you click to select a action. Those "boxes" or text do not show on the screen. When I know where these should be, I can move the pointer there and click to make the action occur, but I surely wish I could see them rather than having to move the mouse until it finds the place to click.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Accessibility settings.

  • Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
