Why does using the ICReinstall_mozilla-firefox-toDownload.exe installer simultaneously download BabylonToolbar malware?
Babylon creates in config two entries: avg.install.userHPSettings user set; http://search.babylon.com/?affID=110795&tt.....; and browser.search.order.1 user set; Search the web (Babylon)

Hmmm, where did you get that installer? If it's listed in the Downloads list (Ctrl+j), you might be able to right-click and view the original source URL.
You can always get a clean installer here: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/fx/#desktop
But at this point, it's probably more of a clean-up operation. There are multiple threads here on the forum about that.

My bad! I used the first listing in a google search for "mozilla firefix download" which was URL "http://mozilla-firefox.todownload.com/Pgclid=........(random)" which took me to a site ToDownload by We Download, Ltd.
That's what I get for working on computers at 0130 hours. You are correct. I have a cleanup and re-installation job to do. Case closed successfully. You really nailed my lack of caution in such troubled waters. GEB
