When Firefox saves my tabs after I close, when I open, do the unloaded tabs affect my bandwidth?

I've been wondering if my unloaded tabs in my browser affect my bandwidth usage. I'm trying to cut my bandwidth usage back, and I want to know if my tabs that are not loaded when I start my browser (with the save past session turned on), act in the background or do something that general affects my bandwidth by raising how much I consume.

hello, those sites will generally be pulled out of your browser cache - you can also go to firefox > options > tabs & make sure that Don't load tabs until selected is enabled - then the tabs will only be restored individually when you actively click on them which will also decrease the time the browser takes for launching...
