I like to read comics online and sometimes, some of the images won't load properly. It will load halfway and the rest of the picture will be blank. This problem also exists when I'm trying to watch videos on youtube. In fact, it's even worse on youtube videos. It'll load only a small part of the video and the rest would be unplayable. If the video shows that it's 5 minutes long, firefox will load only a few seconds of it and then stop loading the rest of the video and then shows that the video is only as long as what it loaded. Downloading files is also very tricky. Even files as small as 20mb is difficult to download. It'll get stuck halfway and then firefox will recognize that the file has been properly downloaded. It's very rare that a file is downloaded fully. I've tried to do all these on google chrome and they all work properly on chrome. However, I'd like to use firefox as adblock is not working properly on chrome.

Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?

Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm using microsoft security essentials for my antivirus and windows firewall. Gonna try booting in safe mode now.

Tried booting in safe mode and everything seems to be working fine. Downloaded 2 files 100 and 200 mb and they were both completed. Videos also loaded fine.
