My problem is similar to what was posted in this closed thread , where no solution was provided

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/938985?esab=a&as=aaq

Whenever I try to post a comment in, for instance, blogspot or the Outlook forum, whenever I click on Submit nothing happens. No error message, either. I seem to have no problems in youtube, though.

It happened in the past, stopped happenning and began to happen again.

I've disabled the pop-up windows block, checked what Ad-Block is blocking and it seems as if nothing is being blocked there. It also happened before I changed my antivirus, in case that was blocking something .

I'd love to keep on using Firefox, but this is terribly annoying.

Hello,

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Thanks so much, it worked!

I got a warning informing there was no 100% guarantee I'd still have my bookmarks after resetting so I just made a back-up copy of them before resetting. The bookmarks were still there after resetting anyway, I just tried to be on the safe side after seeing the warning.

Thanks again!
