I downloaded an update on 6/17/13 (4.0 beta 10) . When I go to sites to download podcasts after this update either LIBSYN.COM or AMAZONAWS.COM comes up in the url address and it blocks the downloads I use to do without any problems. Thanks for your help.

foxfire (sic) 4.0 beta 10 is a real old version. You posted here with Firefox 21.0.

Which one are you having this problem with?

How about trying a basic troubleshooting procedure?

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."

When in Safe Mode...

  • The status of plug-ins is not affected.
  • Custom preferences are not affected.
  • All extensions are disabled.
  • The default theme is used, without a persona.
  • userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored.
  • The default toolbar layout is used.
  • The JIT Javascript compiler is disabled.
  • Hardware acceleration is disabled.

If not, see this:

The Firefox 4.0 b10 (of twelve betas then) has not been a update for 2 1/2 years now. As said you appear to have 21.0 and the Firefox 22.0 was released earlier today.
