I don't want to see top sites when I make a new tab - I want to see Speed Dial(add-on).

I've already changed about:newtab to about:blank in the browser.newtab.url but now there is only white sheet on a new tab but I want to see the speed dial page!

Chosen solution

I assume that there is a setting in Sped Dial to open its page in a new tab.

Did you check that in Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions?

You can also try to disable all other extensions in case one of them is interfering.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
