auto-choices on ID box is showing ID AND Password
For one site for work, I was trying to log in and filled in the user ID Box. Then I thought I had hit tab for the cursor to move on down to the Password Box, but evidently missed. Without realizing this I continued typing and hit enter. obviously it did not log in, no problem just log in again right. However now every time I go to log in on this site I type in the first letter of the ID and it shows possible IDs to choose from, and the second one down on the list is my user name followed by my complete password. If anyone glances over my shoulder at the screen as I go to log in they can see the complete info!! not good. Were I work sharing a password (even with the IT guy for your department is a fireable offense!!!) I want to turn off this show the options functions that shows possible IDs. How can I do this???
Chosen solution
Try deleting the entry from the list this way:
When the item comes up as a choice, arrow down to it, then press the Delete key.
Hope that helps.

If that fails, try deleting it from the Saved Passwords list this way:
- Click the Tools->Options menu item.
- Click the Security button.
- Click the Saved Passwords button.
- Find and select the entry you want to get rid of.
- Click the Remove button.
Modified
You can use these steps to remove saved (form) data from a drop-down list:
- click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop-down list
- highlight an entry in the drop-down list
- press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.
