Whenever I tap the address bar -- to check the address to type in a new one -- the browser returns to the home "Awesome" screen. I would rather it just remained on the current site until I actually navigate away from it.

Ugh. I'd prefer a home button or something. If I change my mind, or was merely checking the URL, now I have to wait for the page to load again.

Thanks for the info. At least now that I've figured out how to display the URL rather than the page title, I should run into this issue less.

hello vyskol, this has been a concious design decision on firefox for android - i don't know any way around that. the assumption is, that when a user taps on the address bar, he/she is trying to navigate to a different site. and since typing in urls on mobile keyboards might be cumbersome the awesome-screen with quick access to the most visited sites/history/bookmarks might come handy in this situation...
