I just installed firefox again - [ Firefox Setup Stub 28.0.exe ] when I access utube - the URL gets translated into a url with an m.bla [ http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dGpZEuXoFWw ] BUT, i'm running a desktop PC in windows 7 and I AM NOT A MOBILE platform. I can not find any configuration settings that switch me back to PC desktop computer. how can I fix this, many things do not work on mobile and I dont want to access mobile web sites.

Your User Agent is Mozilla/ (Android; Mobile;) Gecko/ Firefox/ it likely needs to be reset.

  • type about:config into the address bar
  • click through the warning
  • in the search box type/paste useragent
  • right click and choose reset on any bold items

stop displaying mobile web pages TWO checks are required to resolve the above issue URL: about:config

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.

(2) Search box

enter [ useragent ] into the SEARCH BOX

find [ general.useragent.override ] RMouse Click and select Reset

or

find [ general.useragent.override.fodors.com ] RMouse Click and select Reset
