I was performing a search in my 2024 email inbox for a particular email. For some unknown reason, when I returned to my inbox, all the 2024 emails were gone. How do I put all my 2024 emails back into my inbox again?

From some months I cannot send mail from my account Tiscali : vaincez@tiscalinet.it. After sending message I receive the following error message:

"Invio del messaggio non riuscito. Si è verificato un errore durante l’invio della posta. Il server di posta ha risposto: MAIL FROM:<vaincez@tiscalinet.it> does not match authenticated user name. Verificare l’indirizzo email nelle impostazioni dell’account e riprovare."

On the same account I receive regularly mail message. Through the TISCALI website I have no problem. I have just submitted the problem to Mozilla Support with ticket ID 194931. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have an older computer and email (giacomo00@hotmail.com) works OK on it. I also have a newer computer and its email stops at 9 Sept. How do I get newer emails on my newer computer?

Nov 7 I stopped receiving emails on Thunderbird from Comcast. I am still able to send emails . Comcast states I need to change to IMAP server to continue third party access. I tried to do that but nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bless you all.

When I open Thunderbird and emails start downloading, There is a message that XX messages are downloading. But when the downloads are finished, the actual number of emails is always smaller. What happens to the ones that are not downloaded? Does this mean that I am not receiving all emails that have been sent to me?

Since the latest Thunderbird update (128.4.2esr (64-bit)) in Ubuntu (Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS Wayland), it no longer responds to hovering over *any* boundary of any pane. I've restarted Thunderbird, and I've rebooted the machine, but to no avail. Panes can't be resized -- not horizontally, and not vertically.

It could be that the zone for resizing has been reduced to less than a pixel and that my low-res mouse in my aging hand just isn't precise enough to grab an edge. Is there an option somewhere to display easy-to-grab (and easy-to-see) handles on pane boundaries for those of us with old eyes, unsteady hands and crappy non-gamer mice?

At the very least, I need a clear cursor change when "in the zone" for grabbing and dragging, otherwise I'm liable to grab an email message and drag it instead (with potential data loss).

I have a non default identity which has the sent and draft folders set to the default identity. When I write mail from this non default identity no draft is written. When I send the mail it is sent but hangs copying the mail to the sent folder.

Friday afternoon I noticed i wasn't receiving any emails and today I keep getting old emails coming in as new that I had in the trash and deleted. Every time I try to write an email I get the message that my account is being processed but it has been days. I have deleted some folders and emails but to avail. Help!

I have upgraded my security settings in accordance with my ISP's parameters, but still get a messages saying that relay is impossible. ISP says problem is in Thunderbird. (Probably picnic as well) How can I fix this?

A message pops up when I try to send an email:

Add Security Exception You are about to override how Thunderbird identifies this site Location: smtp.xplornet.ca:587 This site attempts to identify itself with invalid information Unknown Identity This certificate is not trasted because it hasn't been verified as issued by trusted authority using a secure signature

I can't send or receive emails on my 2 email accounts

I had a number of files saved as "drafts" up until yesterday .. Now the most recent ones have suddenly disappeared -- (Everything after 8/29/24)  ! ! ! I had some important information saved there... Is there a way to recover those files???? Thanks for the assist.....11/11/24

I'm using the latest edition of TB and have started coloring my folders. How do I color subfolders? Do I have to do each separately or is there a way of coloring all subfolders with the same color under a given folder? Thanks, Dave

I use Thunderbird as an email client, and a POP3 connection to Virginmedia to download emails. This has worked pretty well for years. In the last few weeks the email content has been very slow to load. Although the list of emails in the inbox in Thunderbird appears quickly, when I select an email to view its content there is a delay of perhaps 5s while it says 'Loading Message...'. There is a similar delay when deleting a message.

Once a message has been loaded, it can be re-visited without a delay, but if marked as unread there is again a delay next time it is read. This is also true if I work offline, so it can't be Virginmedia's server.

I have another account using an IMAP connection which doesn't suffer from any delay. Thanks if anyone can advise.

Since my last update 'Thunderbird' is giving issues never experienced previously!

Freezing of screen on loading - takes about a minute to make progress.

Click 'send' - "not responding" - one or two minutes to become active again!

Same issue when clicking any other function!!!

Any advice greatfully received.
