I have been used to archiving important emails in a separate " year " folder. 
  I cannot seem to find a way of doing this in thunderbird for android.
   Is this possible or is there another way I do not know of.

Dear Sir, I have used thunderbird on my pc's for nearly 2 decades. I am not a "techie but just find it so useful , however , I am transitioning from blue mail and k9 on my Android phone to Thunderbird. I have been used to archiving important emails in a separate " year " folder. I cannot seem to find a way of doing this in thunderbird for android.
