fellas my Firefox extensions wont show the drop down menu anymore it just opens a new page/tab. but on my laptop i can select the extensions for example i can open a new container with the container extension on my laptop but not on my PC

Something that's gone unsolved for years with Firefox for me is suddenly, one day, the browser started overfblowing the brightness in A LOT of images on websites. It even does this with the icons for websites in the bookmarks bar. It happens like this for almost every single one and so many things I've tried doing doesn't fix it; installed latest version, restarting the browser, troubleshoot mode. Nothing works.

The image that is bright and washed out is a screenshot of a weighted blanket on its website while using Firefox. The other is how it looks using Opera GX, and is how it usually looks on every other browser.

How do I fix this?

Since the last Firefox update I can login in my outlook email-program, but after login the screen remains blank. In my banking account I can do transfers, but if I want to download a receipt (what earlier always was function properly) the screen remains blank.

Since I updated to 132.0, youtube refuses to play like a dog that doesn't want to go to the vet. It lets me search videos and open the page, but the player sits and loads without playing. Music.youtube.com doesn't respond at all to the play button; it continues to show the play button and doesn't play. I tried removing all my extensions, clearing history, cache, site settings, et. al., but it didn't work. Only on Chromium does YouTube work. I heard Youtube was cracking down on adblockers, but I have tried removing it already and reloading to no avail. Next I'm trying to refresh firefox in about:support.

Hello, I keep deleting Google search as I want to use DuckDuckGo my main web search browser. There is a nuisance as Google search keeps coming back even if I deleted Google from my Search engines.

Please help with a definitive solution otherwise I should move to another browser. Cheers.

Hi everyone, I love Firefox, but it has a very debilitating issue whereby login popup windows, those little ones you click on to login, do not come up at all on some sites.

I have a screenshot below for https://www.avsim.com from MS Edge, where the popup does work. It also works on Google Chrome. But after clicking on sign in, nothing happens at all in Firefox.

Popups are enabled, cookies are enabled and safe browsing is totally disabled in Firefox settings. I have also disabled my ad blocker, AdGuard, on this site.

Can someone tell me what settings may need to be fixed in Firefox, or is this another issue?

I have problem with the viewing texts on LinkedIn posts and emails from LinkedIn. I tried it with other browsers and they all works fine. I am not sure whether it is Firefox or LinkedIn that trigger the problem.

Is there a quick way to close all windows at once, without quitting FF?

I would prefer an extension-less solution; also I would like to keep the setting that retains the previous session upon reopening FF.

When I clear data of a site I expect it to only clear data of that site, but it clears all data of all sites under the top domain, which is unwanted behavior for me.

Is there any way how to clear data only from that specific subdomain without effecting the other subdomains?

I created a ticket for an app that it wouldn't keep my settings but it was not the app's fault. It was Firefox clearing data of that app when I cleared data of a totally unrelated app (but under the same top domain) which caused a lot of frustration to the team behind the app.

Bookmarks disappeared in desktop browser following forced Firefox update but they are still present in Android mobile browser. How do I sync them from my mobile to desktop?

I am using trading view on my firefox and it stops saying ad blocker detected. I have not downloaded any extensions and this issue wasnt there few days back. How can i Get rid of this ? ON chrome browser this issue isnt there.

For the past couple months or so, I've had constant issues with screen tearing when scrolling or with 60FPS YouTube videos. Nothing I've tried has seemed to work, and it's seriously bugging me. The issue does not seem to be present when the video display is small, but it's apparent as ever when fullscreened.

Things I've tried that I can remember, and that haven't worked: - Enabling hardware acceleration - Forcing VSync through NVIDIA Control Panel - Setting layers.acceleration.force-enabled in about:config to true

Latest version of FireFox for MacOS on Sonoma 14.7.1. When I go to YouTube it just shows greyed out boxes. When using private mode, it works fine.

I've tried clearing cache, switching off AdBlock, etc.

YouTube works fine on other browsers.

Any suggestions?
