I don't know I installed this URL link. When I click on the newtab. It keeps sending me to http://search.conduit.com. and I can't seem to change this or delete it. I went to that web site. and they didn't have contact info on it. Does any one know how to get this URL off my browsers Newtab.

  1. Type about:config into the address bar and press Enter.
  2. To bypass the warning, press the big button labeled "I'll be careful, I promise!".
  3. In the search box, paste browser.newtab.url
  4. In the search results, right-click browser.newtab.url and choose Reset.
  5. If the problems persist, see Remove a toolbar that has taken over your Firefox search or home page.

You can also check in "Windows Control Panel > Programs" for recently installed programs to see if anything from Conduit shows up.

  • Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Uninstall or change a program
  • Click the Installed column to sort by this heading

Thanks for the info. How ever that didn't work all so. What I had to do was to get into the register and delete all the related search results that I could fine called Conduit. I couldn't find any plugins or installed programs related to it. I'll have to find out where that came from.

Thanks
