Every time I close Firefox I receive an error message that the program stopped working. I have searched for a fix for this issue but I can't get it resolved. I have uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it with no success. I am using Windows 8.1, 64 bit.

Izabrano rješenje

  1. Click the ≡ Menu Button and choose Options.
  2. Click the Privacy icon.
  3. Select "Firefox will: Use custom settings for history".
  4. Is the "Clear history when closing Firefox" option enabled? If so, uncheck it and see if the problem still occurs.

If Firefox crashes with that option unchecked, see the following article. If none of the troubleshooting steps help, please note the "Get help fixing this crash" section at the end.
