I upgraded to 31 and it wouldn't startup after selecting the icon. Sometimes it would start if I reinstalled 31 and when it was done downloading the finish button would allow the program to start. Once closed wouldn't start again. Upgraded to 32 and same. Went back to 12 (had the download still on my hardrive) and it works fine.

Where do I locate & download older copies of Firefox and may want to just use 27 again. Don't messing with the fixes & attempts.

Many thanks in advance!!

Alan

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to install for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
